Product Description


     The SSD2381 DevKit is an embedded Linux development kit built around the high-performance SigmaStar SSD2381 processor. It is designed for industrial HMI, edge AI, smart display and multimedia terminal applications. Combining high-performance computing, AI inference, HD video processing, versatile display interfaces and wireless connectivity, the kit helps customers shorten product development and mass-production cycles. Development documentation, system images, interface adaptation, software customization and mass-production technical support are also available. 

      The development kit features a quad-core Arm Cortex-A55 64-bit processor running at up to 1.4 GHz. Based on the Armv8-A architecture with NEON instruction support, it delivers strong data-processing and computing performance. The processor integrates an IPU providing up to 3 TOPS of AI performance for edge AI inference and visual recognition. Its multimedia processing unit supports H.264/H.265 video encoding and decoding, JPEG encoding and decoding, G2D graphics acceleration and multi-channel video processing. Display interfaces include RGB, MIPI-DSI and dual-channel LVDS, while an HDMI 1.4b RX input supports HD video signal acquisition for a wide range of display and video applications. 

      The development kit integrates dual-band 2.4 GHz/5 GHz Wi‑Fi 6 and Bluetooth Low Energy, together with dual-microphone input, acoustic echo cancellation (AEC), audio processing and extensive peripheral expansion interfaces. It is suitable for high-end industrial HMIs, smart appliance control panels, visual recognition terminals, intelligent robots, voice-interaction devices, smart gateways, digital signage, self-service information terminals and cloud-connected digital photo frames.
